The OBTA Performance Group "The Trillium Twirlers" was established in 2022. The group is an ensemble consisting of members from various clubs in Ontario under the direction of coaches Shawna Spencer and Susan Franklyn. Its main purpose is to raise awareness for the sport of Baton twirling in the province. By coming together, the members not only foster a sense of camaraderie but also strengthen the Baton Twirling community in Ontario. Through their performances and demonstrations, the OBTA Performance Group aims to inspire and encourage others to participate in this unique and captivating sport. With their dedication and commitment, they strive to promote Baton twirling as a respected and admired athletic discipline across the province.
